Rain Rain Go Away Kind of Day~

Happy Tuesday my friends! I am currently on Spring Break and unfortunately everyday so far has been gloomy and rainy here in Dartmouth, MA. While my friends soak up the sun in South Florida and my boyfriend gambles his life away in Las Vegas, I am here praying for sunnier days so I can break out my spring clothes. This rainy day has me wearing my Brandy Melville flannel because it is so comfortable for just hanging out on the couch and watching movies. However this rain has not stopped me from wearing my Banana Republic peek-a-boo t-shirt (sold out but similar) and LF bralette.

Last night I had put my hair in braids while it was wet, and by the morning it was dry and wavy once I had taken the braids out. I do not usually put my hair in the half up half down bun but since the waves gave my hair more volume, I had gotten away with it. Yesterday, my mom had given my hair a trim and I had cut two inches off... not that noticeable but it feels much healthier. For the past year I had given up dying my hair because it was thinning so bad to the point you could see the back of my neck when it was down. My hair looks ombre because I am growing out my natural brown hair and keeping the tips of my hair blonde. (It is kind of awk that my hair is the same exact color as the background). This past year I have been taking Biotin to thicken and make my hair more healthy. I have not kept up with taken Biotin everyday, however it has really has made a difference.

The Bachelor Finale~

During last nights, Bachelor Finale (the night we had all been waiting for)... so much was revealed! Ben Higgins is now officially engaged to the gorgeous Lauren Bushnell... Congrats to all the Lauren B. fans! Sorry JoJo Fletcher fans but she is the NEXT BACHELORETTE. Now that is a season I am dying to see.

Other than the results, what really caught my attention was the finale and after the final rose dresses. Lauren and JoJo really dropped jaws last night.

THE FINALE~

Lauren Bushnell wore a simple yet elegant royal blue fitted dress with a high neck line. This dress snugged perfectly in every area of her thin figure. Lauren's make up was definitely professionally done. Her hair was slightly curled and parted to the side while one side was pinned up. The royal blue looked gorgeous on Lauren's tan skin and the color made her eyes pop. You can find a similar dress here

JoJo Fletcher's light pink sequin dress is my all time favorite. She blew the audience away with the way the dress fit her every perfect curve and the V-neckline that completed the gown. JoJo's hair was her signature loose curls and her make up was kept very basic with light black eyeliner, black mascara and nude eye shadow. She topped it off with matching pink lip. The light pink gown looked incredible with her natural tan. You can find a similar dress here

**Respect to both women for wearing long gowns in the Jamaica heat!**

AFTER THE FINAL ROSE~

JoJo was first to come out from back stage to confront Ben for the first time since the break up. She looked stunning in a dark navy dress with a slight slit in the front and one in the back. JoJo's ombre hair is much more subtle than during the season. She added carmel colored highlights and her makeup was much heavier on the eyes unlike the finale in Jamaica but with or without makeup she is stunning!!! I am really looking forward to her outfits during her Bachelorette season that will start Monday, May 23. Here is a similar dress. (Photo and similar dress from Hollywood Life.)

Lauren Bushnell came out second with a gorgeous short white lace cocktail dress. This was the first time in public that Ben and Lauren were officially an exclusive couple. Lauren's make up was flawless and her hair looked fuller with her hair extensions. White is definitely her color. I am so happy for this beautiful couple and cannot wait for whats in store for them... (marriage& kids???) Shop here for a similar dress like Lauren's!

How to Manage Your Pinterest~

*First Step to managing your Pinterest is to understand the Basics.

1) RATIO DOES NOT MATTER: Many Instagramers take their ratio of followers and people they follow very seriously. For Pinterest, it is important to follow as many accounts as possible so that you do not miss out on any type of post. Many Pinterest accounts have a theme like cooking, types of fashion, photography, etc so their posts may be limited.

2) If your Pinterest is not a specific theme, Make sure your board names and content are not too broad. If you are constantly pinning on one board, it gets too cluttered and it is hard to go back and look at pictures that you posted awhile back. Also many people will follow just one of your boards and not your entire page so it is important to have a variety of boards to interest different types of pinteresters.

3) Do not be afraid to constantly repin! Many users will favor/ "heart" a photo or just skim by it. It is important to repin posts to your boards so you can go back and it will be a lot easier to find. Repin often so your users can see your posts. They follow you for a reason, they want you to post as much as possible!

For my Pinterest, I started with a board for Bohemian Fashion because I am obsessed. In this board you will find many band shirts, beach pants, gypsy jewels and more.

This board is for my style other than boho fashion. This board is for my followers who are into my other styles.

I love hair and so does almost every girl. My hair board is not limited to only blondes with long hair. There is photos of long, medium, and short hair with every color.

Bags are the icing on the outfit cake! Bags complete every outfit, so it is important to have a variety of different bags for every occasion.

These are some of the rest of my boards. It is important to have a variety of everything, unless your board is a specific theme. I hope this post helped you and please check out my Pinterest. Comment your thoughts, Id love to hear all opinions! xx

So many walls, so little time~

I can never get enough of wall art. It is one of my favorite forms of art and every time I see one I must take a photo with it. This photo was taken in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia.  This outfit was not planned as a blog post but it is so simple and one of my favorites. My tank top is from freepeople. I bought my belt at a market in Sydney but there is similar at LF stores. LF does not allow you to shop online, however there is a store locator on the site that will show you the closest store to you! My jewel necklace is from a market as well but you can find similar at Tree Of Life. I have many Tree of Life jewel necklaces that complete many of my outfits and they are very reasonable. My sunglasses are are from Urban Outfitters and my shorts are from Hollister from last year but there are similar in this current season. My shorts are very old and I had cut off the inner pocket with the bird because I like my jeans without logos.

City Train~

I such a great day shooting with the amazing Michaela Todd, not only was the weather beautiful (it looks gloomy but it was actually in the 50s, which is nice for us New Englanders) but I spent the day shooting with my awesome friends. One is my roomate Jen Nguyen in the last photo. Ever since I moved to the Boston area, I found myself wearing a lot more neutral colors but I actually love it. I just purchased my lace up top at the LF sale for $18 when it was originally $100. The sale has just ended for the Winter collection but the new Spring collection is amazing (blog will be posted soon about that). My fur vest is from Lord and Taylor and my jacket is from H&M last year. You can click the links for similar items! Hope you enjoyed xoxox

My Fruitful Kick ~

If any of you follow my snapchat.. @sydneygordon you would already know my sweet obsession with acai bowls. Acai Bowls are smoothies made up of acai berry. The acai berry has a very distinct yummy taste that other fruits cant compare to. These acai bowls have the natural sugars that give us that energy boost without having another cup of coffee. (I always have to have a cup of coffee) Not only is this absolutely delicious, it is healthy and boosts the metabolism!  I have had my fair share of acai bowls that now i know the difference between an acai bowl made with frozen acai berries and the ones made with powder. There is nothing better than the frozen berries, however, the powder is still very good. These frozen berries is usually sold in super markets with warmer climates. However you can purchase the powder at any Walmart store. So if you ever plan on making your homemade bowl... here is a SECRET INGREDIENT..... (honey)... Youre welcome (;

Spell Design Outlet ~

Hey Guys! Its been awhile but I had just returned home from Australia and I have so much to share with you guys. Today's post is of my absolute favorite store, Spell & Gypsy Designs that originated in Byron Bay Australia. The photos are taken from the outlet store and the last three photos are Spell bralettes that I had just purchased. I am wearing two of them in some of the photos. What is so great about these bralettes is they also can be bathing suits. I had purchased the matching bottoms to the black and red rose bralette to wear as a bathing suit. The material will not fade in the ocean! Unfortunately the rose bralette is sold out but there are many other designs to choose from. Spell is constantly coming out with new designs and I can not wait to order more. Yes.. They do international orders! I hope you check out Spells website and love it as much as I do! It is never too early to shop for your summer apparel!
